Detailed Description:
The ETS 2G 7” Street kit is hands down the best kit on the market today for street driven vehicles. With a Bar
and Plate Core, Mandrel bent Piping, Stainless T-Bolt Clamps, 3 Layer Silicone, Full Instructions, this kit is one tough contender.
At the heart of the kit is our Premium Bar and Plate core. These high flowing cores feature our exclusive offset
and staggered internal fins, and louvered external fins. This dense fin design allows our cores to be some of the most
efficient units availible while still retaining good flow, both on the charge air (Internal) side and the ambient (external)
side. This will ensure there is little pressure drop across the Intercooler, and the radiator will stay cool. (very important on
street cars)
To complement such a core, our 2G piping has been designed with the shortest, smoothest, and easiest to install
routing possible. Our unique design routes the piping around the core support and up over the shift linkage, this
means that there is 3 ft. less piping than kits that follow the stock pipe routing. Our piping comes off the turbo and expands
up to a large 2.5” diameter as soon as possible. From there it stays 2.5” all the way to the throttle body elbow.
Our piping is also modular, so all it takes to go from a t25 to a 16g is one pipe, or from a 16g to a t3/t4 is one pipe as
well. This means that if you buy the kit and upgrade later, you will not be throwing away your money. Also a unique feature
to our kit is that both stock fans stay with all of the turbo options. Our trademark “J” Pipe will route between the
fans, while the t3/t4 piping will clear the cross member — that so many other kits have problems with. The t25 kit will
require very slight cutting of the fan motor mount. The kit can also be configured for a GM MAS Translator if need be. In
this situation we leave a 6” gap for the GM MAS, and the BOV (Blow off Valve) gets moved down by the overflow tank so it
can vent to the atmosphere without stalling. If you are using the stock 2G MAS , then the BOV will be up by the cruise
control for easy recirculation with the stock tube. All of our piping features wrinkle free Mandrel Bends, a durable powder
coat finish, Stainless Steel T-Bolt Clamps (you can tighten them with an Impact Gun!!), and Premium Silicone Couplers
.
The Installation of the ETS Street kit is the easiest there is. Cutting the bumper apart, Hole Sawing the core support,
removing fans, and cutting motor mounts are a thing of the past. Our detailed instructions will walk you through all
the difficult steps of the install. The install is easiest on 97-99 Eclipses, as on these years there is very little nose trimming,
and the fog lights stay. On all Talons, and 95-96 Eclipses the fog lights get removed and on the 95-96 Eclipses the
grill area gets trimmed back. All of this has to be done with any FMIC kit, but the ETS instructions will guide you through
the install with ease.
